Known as the Master of the Head and Face point: it is used to treat any pain in the head, face, neck specifically; and can generally treat any pain in the body and emotional stress. |
Our Tai Qi/Qi Gong classes are focused on basic principles that give you something to use in your daily life.
Tai Qi principles provide basic body mechanics on how to lift things and move your body in ways that minimize impacting your low back and arms. |
Medicina Divina...
Chinese Medicine (CM) says that our mental, emotional, and spiritual outlook on life is the most influential aspect of our health.
Our lifestyle choices and dietary habits also greatly influence our physical balance.
In our practice we involve clients in their healing process by providing guidance on diet and exercise (Tai Qi Principles) as well as treatment through acupuncture, herbs, moxabustion, cupping, tui na, Tai Qi, and information on the mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of their condition.
As a married couple, we offer the choice of a female or male practitioner for the comfort of our clients.
As general practitioners, we offer treatment for all maladies of the human condition.
We have certification in a unique therapy called Scalp Acupuncture as taught by Dr. Zhu which is excellent therapy for ANY pain with only a few needle in the scalp. For details on Scalp Acupuncture click http://www.scalpacupuncture.org/.
Additionally, we teach a "Tea Connoisseur Class" for those interested in learning about the "World of Chinese Tea" and Larry teaches a Beginner Tai Qi Class.
Our Tea class can span 4 hours and offers tastings of 5 types of high quality teas with some plain snacks. Please be sure to eat before class as tea is an appetite stimulant and digestive aid.
We look forward to working with you and meeting new challenges with a smile.
*FYI: Licensure in Washington State now reflects the holistic aspect of Chinese Medicine by changing the name of the license to Practitioner of Eastern Asian Medicine. This will soon also require training in herbology and other aspects of Asian Medicines that make this practice more holistic and inclusive of therapies other than just Acupuncture.
